Massimiliano Allegri considers the Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to Juventus will be a dream transfer this summer.
Pogba had a two-year spell at the Old Lady of Turin under Allegri, winning the Serie A title and representing the Champions League final in 2015 was a great achievement for both of them.
The 28-year-old French midfielder has his most successful time with Allegri. Where he became one of the best midfielders in the world that forced United to bring their academy graduate back to Old Trafford for a hefty €105 million, having permitted him to leave the club for free in 2012.
Currently, Pogba has a contract with the Red Devils until June 2022. And if the Bianconeri are willing to bring the World Cup winner back to the Allianz Stadium. It will be the best time to do so. Or they can wait till next summer where he might be available for free. If the midfielder decides not to extend his contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Will Pogba reunite with Allegri this summer?
According to Calciomercato, following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus are in the market to reinforce the midfield options and Pogba will be a dream move for the Bianconeri this summer.
As the French midfielder still has one year remaining in his contract. The Old Trafford outfit will be demanding around €70-80 million for their world-class talent. The amount will be very hard for Bianconeri to pay in this financial crisis. So, if this deal goes through this summer. Then the swap deal is looking much more likely but United wants cash for Pogba.
However, if Juventus failed to sign the Manchester United midfielder. Then they have shortlisted Rodrigo De Paul of Udinese as an attacking midfield option who is linked with a possible summer move for Atlético de Madrid.
The Bianconeri have AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in their list as well whose contract with the Rossoneri will finish at the end of this June.
It will be a fascinating tug of war for Paul Pogba this summer. As Manchester United will be desperate to keep their best players in the club. And Juventus will be trying to make the most out of the transfer market. In the end, it will come down to what Pogba would want for his future.
