PSG reportedly have made a move to sign Lionel Messi by offering a mammoth three-year contract. This contract will see him team up with former teammate Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

According to reports, PSG have offered Lionel Messi a three-year contract as they maintain their pursuit of the Barcelona superstar.

The questions over Messi’s future have been hanging for a long time now. His contract situation has been the most talked about subject in Barcelona this season, and even if they win the league and cup double, it will be overshadowed by his future.

Messi’s current contract ends this summer and he is yet to renew his contract with the Catalans. He was set to leave as it was reported back in October because of former club President Josep Maria Bartomeu. However, he chose to stay in the club for the remaining season.

New club president Joan Laporta and manager Ronald Koeman are trying hard to convince the club legend to stay at Barcelona. They believe that winning the La Liga and the Copa Del Ray would do some job in that.

Messi is yet to comment on his future plans and will think about that after the season gets over. Barcelona has currently five games left in La Liga and they would try to win the league.

PSG’ hard to turn down deal for Messi

Messi is the greatest player in football history and all the teams would like to sign the football star. But only a few can afford him in this pandemic situation and they are Manchester City and PSG.

The Parisians are currently trying hard to convince Messi to join the French club next season.

As per reports PSG has put a two-year and an additional one-year offer on the table for Lionel Messi, which they consider to be “unbeatable” economically by any other team. And as an added incentive, the Barcelona captain will also be handed the No.10 shirt.

Messi had stated earlier that he wants a team that challenges in the big competition such as the Champion’s league. Barcelona have been struggling to win the Champions League for some time now, and at the same time, PSG have found their form in the competition.

With PSG signing Messi he would get a reunion with his former teammate Neymar who left the club in 2017 and since then he has desired to play with him again, and with PSG offering such a deal it seems it could be happing for Messi.
