About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Did Real Madrid give up their Pursuit of Erling Haaland? The La Liga giants are reportedly ready to accept defeat in the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund Striker. Real Madrid has ruled out the possibility to sign the Norwegian as they assume he will end up in the Premier League next season. According to El Chiringuito, Manchester City will go after him next summer to boost their attacking ranks.

However, a lot of clubs tried to sign him earlier this year but Dortmund’s asking price was €175 Million. Therefore, all the Clubs backed out from signing him this summer as they will until 2022 when his asking price will go down to €75 Million. Meanwhile, Haaland’s Agent Mino Raiola will also charge a Fee of €40 Million for brokering a Move for the Norwegian.

Chelsea tried to sign the Norwegian during the Summer Transfer Window of 2021. But, the deal never happened due to a crazy demand from his agent and Dortmund’s asking price of €175 Million.

A release clause in the Norway international’s contract will lead to a hotly-disputed race. Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United will try to sign him next summer. Erling Haaland was constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer of 2021.

REAL MADRID RULE OUT A MOVE FOR HAALAND AS KYLIAN MBAPPE MIGHT JOIN AS A FREE AGENT NEXT SUMMER

According to Football Journalist Josep Pedrerol, Real Madrid feel that they will ultimately lose out to a team from the Premier League. Pedrerol was at the forefront of attention during the Kylian Mbappe saga this summer. He was adamant that Real Madrid would sign the Frenchman next summer. However, the 13-time UEFA Champions League Winners ‘assume’ their transfer target, Erling Haaland, will play in England next season.

Real Madrid is currently at the second spot in the La Liga points table with 27 points, just one point behind league leaders Real Sociedad. Luka Modric is also close to extending his contract with the Los Blancos but a move for Haaland seems off as of now.

“Real Madrid assumes that Haaland will play in England next year and they have it ruled out.”

Read Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wants Gareth Bale to leave the club. The Italian feels that Bale is no longer interested to play for the club. Therefore, the club could terminate his contract as early as January with Kylian Mbappe arriving as a Free agent in 2022.

Erling Haaland is being regarded as the next Big Thing in World Football. He has appeared 17 times in the UEFA Champions League for RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund with 21 goals under his belt. The 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined through injury, has scored 13 goals from 10 games this campaign.
