Kylian Mbappe, a standout player for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has decided to join Real Madrid by 2024,  according to the Spanish sports daily Diario AS.Mbappe’s transfer saga has picked back up as the French forward reportedly revealed to his friends that he plans to join Real Madrid in 2024. Mbappe has made it obvious that he wants to wear the fabled white jersey of Real Madrid, but the Spanish club is staying away from talking about a prospective transfer. Madrid are apparently reluctant to deal for PSG’s all-time leading scorer until he becomes a free agent because their past attempts to lure him to a contract failed miserably.

Due to the club’s lack of success in Europe,Mbappe reportedly has a clause in his contract that  would permit him to depart for a price next summer even though he signed a contract with PSG  until 2025. According to AS, the player has already made up his mind and has booked a meeting with  PSG at the  end of the season to express his preferences. Only until Mbappe is no longer associated with PSG would they begin contract negotiations with him, whether by mutual agreement or by letting his current contract expire. According to the Madrid daily, he has made it clear to his camp that he will play for Los Blancos at the very least by the 2024–25 season.

Mbappe will only join Real Madrid if one condition is met

Real Madrid have made it clear that they will not engage in any negotiations with PSG, according to AS. When Mbappe becomes a free agent, only then will he move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid appears to be open to the idea of just signing Mbappe as a free agent. Of course, if he does not use his option to extend it by another year, his current contract with PSG will expire in the summer of 2024.

One of the best transfers in the history of the game would be to sign Mbappe on a free transfer. If Real Madrid can pull it off, that remains to be seen.PSG can only win Ligue 1 this season after losses in the  Coupe de France and Champions League. Their stretch run begins on a defeat against Lyon April 2. Real Madrid, on the other hand, will have a challenging finish to the season as they attempt to  bounce back from a Copa del Rey loss to Barcelona in the first leg and get past Chelsea in the Champions League  quarter-final.
