Real Madrid prepares with a shock move for Romelu Lukaku

after their collision

At this point, Real Madrid could undoubtedly need another striker. Karim Benzema may still be a significant player, but he has failed to stay fit for a prolonged amount of time this season. On the other side, he has no true backup either. Mariano Diaz is likely to depart in the summer and has made only a few appearances. Alvaro, on the other hand, is only 18 years old. As a result, it would make sense for Real Madrid to recruit another striker in the near future. In that way, they has shown interest for a surprising name.

Real Madrid linked with Belgian giant Romelu Lukaku

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid is interested in Romelu Lukaku. The plan is to take advantage of Chelsea’s and Inter Milan’s problematic situations in order to acquire the Belgian for a reasonable sum.
Lukaku is now on loan at Inter Milan, just a season after joining Chelsea for a cost of about €115 million. However, he didn’t have the best time in Italy. Thus it remains to be seen whether he will stay beyond this season.

Current Premier League Standings

Many people will be taken stunned by the links to Lukaku. After all, his reputation has deteriorated considerably in recent seasons. Aside from his form, his fitness has been a source of concern. He’s been suffering with a lot of injuries lately. Despite this, he appears to have recently recaptured some of his form. According to Transfermarkt statistics, he has 9 goals and 3 assists in 26 games for Inter Milan this season. As a result, Real Madrid should reconsider signing the Belgian striker.

After a poor season at Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku rejoined Inter on loan last summer and has stated a desire to stay at San Siro. However, the 29-year-old has had a difficult year in Italy, suffering from injuries and getting involved in a racism controversy, and it has been reported that Inter will not sign him outright.
According to The Telegraph, future Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino may give Lukaku another chance in west London. Despite spending over £600 million on new players, the Blues have struggled for goals during a nightmare 2022-23 season. Lukaku would cost nothing to bring hopes back.
