Real Madrid might sign Samuel Chukwueze

Aside from that, according to a report on El Debate by journalist Tomas Gonzalez-Martin, Real Madrid could look for a new winger. Hence Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze surfacing as a possible target. Despite Rodrygo’s outstanding performances, Real Madrid’s right flank has been a source of concern. The Brazilian is not a natural wide player and prefers to work on the inside. Therefore Carlo Ancelotti could be sensible in investing in someone like Chukwueze. The nigerian would provide a different dimension to their offensive line from the right wing.

The 23-year-old Nigerian international is having a fantastic season. He scored 13 goals and 11 assists from 46 games across all competitions. He had a fantastic game against Real Madrid last month, scoring a brace in Villarreal’s 3-2 victory. As a result, Los Blancos have been fascinated by Chukwueze and are exploring a summer move for him. The Nigerian international’s current deal with the Yellow Submarines runs until 2024 and includes a €60 million release clause. According to the report, if Real Madrid targets him, they would attempt to give a player as part of the deal to cut the transfer fee.

Real Madrid looking to part ways with Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz. With Marco Asensio’s future uncertain, adding another forward makes sense. Chukwueze, considering his age and proven La Liga record, can be a strong choice. But it remains to be seen whether the Merengues are willing to pursue the Villarreal ace, especially after spending such a large sum on Bellingham.
