The news reports are ripe with rumors that Real Madrid would want to buy Kylian Mbappe. Los Blancos would want to strengthen its forward line and need a man who can complement Karim Benzema upfront.
Why does Real Madrid want Kylian Mbappe?
Kylian Mbappe is regarded as one of the finest strikers in the world. No wonder, Los Blancos would want to make the Paris Saint-Germain forward part of their team. As part of the PSG, he has been instrumental in their rise.
But it is not going to be easy. Real Madrid had in the past tried to sign the Frenchman into their team but he did not join them and signed an extension contract with Les Parisiens (The Parisians) instead. This episode must have left an ‘ugly taste in the mouth‘ for the European Champions.
It is to be seen if they are willing to make another shot at the French World Cup Winner. Also, another question is: if PSG would be willing to sell their striker to another club? They have the best forward line in the form of Neymar, Messi, and Mbappe. Surely, They would not like to break this forward line.
If Mbappe wants to leave?
Importantly, if the 23-year-old wants to leave what options does the French club have? Well, it can ask for a hefty price for Mbappe. This price can be as high as €300-350 million (£263-£306m). There are only a few clubs in the world that have the capacity to buy a player at such a great price.
If Mbappe would want to transfer to another club, then many clubs would queue up to make him as part of their team. Liverpool and Manchester City are the top contenders to make an offer. Even Chelsea and Manchester United can make an offer to the French.
