Ronaldinho Gaucho once dominated the world of football like no other player. The Brazilian was a magician who had a flair on the pitch that mesmerized everyone. “Barcelona are in a moment of transition. A lot of people from my time are back at the club. I hope things will work out.”
Dinho also talked about his former teammate Xavi and his time as a coach at the club.
“They have a great coach and fantastic players incoming. They also have young players with a lot of talent. Barça have everything to get back to the top. Barça are the team where I played for the longest period. It is a team that I really, really love.”
Ronaldinho played in over 200 matches for Barcelona and won several titles. It was at Barcelona only that he managed to win the Ballon d’Or. The Brazilian also provided the famous assist for Lionel Messi’s first Barcelona goal.
Ronaldinho weighs in on the G.O.A.T debate
Many have weighed in on the debate for the greatest player of all time. The answer is mostly Lionel Messi, Pele or Diego Maradona. Most players, Pundits, and Fans have no hesitation and choose Lionel Messi as the best player the beautiful game has ever seen. But Ronaldinho was hesitant in choosing his former teammate as the G.O.A.T.
“It is difficult to say, there are so many other players. I don’t like to compare. You had Maradona, Pele, there were so many. Every one of them was the best in their own time.”
In the past also, Dinho has said that Messi is the best of his generation for him but it is difficult to label him as the GOAT. He also included Ronaldo Nazario along with Pele and Maradona in the past, comparing them to Messi.
