Los Blancos eager to sign Kane as soon as possible

The transfer of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid was ultimately completed earlier today, as stated by Borussia Dortmund on their website. Despite this, the Santiago Bernabeu headquarters haven’t even take a break to celebrate their achievement.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Los Blancos are now entirely focused on acquiring Harry Kane. The arrival of the English striker is almost complete, with only a few technicalities remaining to be worked out. Representatives from Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur allegedly met today to discuss the striker’s deal. The main topic was to reach an agreement on the transfer fee figure. The Premier League club began the negotiations with the anticipation of receiving €100 to €110 million in exchange for Kane. The Merengues, on the other hand, proposed a lesser figure of €80 to €90 million, with the option of include bonuses. There isn’t much between the two parties right now, and the little split will be fixed in the next days. Overall, the meeting resulted in a broad agreement between the two teams.

Sergio Ramos advises Harry Kane not to turn down the opportunity

Sergio Ramos had a successful 16-year career at Real Madrid, acquiring 22 trophies, and the former Spain captain urged Kane not to miss out on the chance to finally win some trophies.

Ramos said to The Mirror that: “My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win.”

“He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game.

“But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that.  Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”

Although Ramos praised Kane, he recognised that whoever replaces Benzema will have a difficult task in replicating the Frenchman. He went on to say:

“What you do need to do though is bring in a quality forward who can come in and score goals. Not everybody can play for Real Madrid as there is so much pressure and expectation – so it needs to be the right player.”

Harry Kane, on the other hand, has scored 30, 17, and 23 goals in his last three Premier League seasons and is the embodiment of consistency. In addition, he had three assists and creates 14 big chances in his most recent league season.
