Mourinho Not Sure About Gareth Bale Future, Threatens a Player

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has already appeared in an interview stating there wasn’t a second discussion about the extension of Gareth Bale’s loan for another season. Now during their training session, Mourinho caught threatening the Welsh winger Gareth Bale.

During a training session ahead of their Premier League game against bottom club Sheffield United a nearby microphone picked up the voice of the Tottenham boss threatening the welsh-wizard about his return to Spanish capital Real Madrid, a life without football. The Spurs coach said,

“You want to stay here? Or go [back] to Real Madrid and play no football?”

– Mourinho to Bale

So far this season, Bale has only played only 12 games and found the back of the net only 3 times. Bale has already suffered long term injuries since his arrival in the club.

Now he shows very less signs of improvement in the games as Mourinho seems frustrated with the progress of Bale and threatened him to leave him in Real Madrid to spend time on the sidelines and reserve bench.

Following the loan move from Real Madrid to Tottenham, Bale has only featured 45 minutes in the Premier League since November 8, as he spent most of the time on the sideline due to long-term injuries.

Mourinho on Bale’ Appearance:

Mourinho commented about his less appearance in premiere league. He said,

“Of course you know he arrived injured for the first month and the Europa League group phase is a different intensity so in the Premier League didn’t play a lot of minutes.”

“Then an injury against Stoke where he was having a good first half. Not an easy process.

Lastly, the Spurs boss said not to talk about Bale and he seems very frustrated with the fitness and the form of Gareth Bale as he lastly said,

“Was not a second of discussion about that [a move away]. Gareth is a player on loan until the end of the season. Not one second of discussion. We are talking about Gareth himself, Real Madrid, Tottenham.”

Verdict:

With this long-term injury problem and failure to make an impact in a game, it seems clear that Gareth Bale will be left in Madrid again.
