Vitor Roque is in “Unstoppable” form as he outclasses Flamengo

Vitor Roque, a Brazilian teenager, is one of the young talents on Barca’s radar. FC Barcelona set to groom Roque as their next superstar. The footballer is now having a fantastic season in which he has climbed to popularity. Roque has maintained his strong form.

Vitor Roque is in Red hot form

Vitor Roque rose to popularity during this year’s South American U-20 tournament. He was one of the competition’s top scorers with six goals and also won the tournament. He has also been called up to the Brazil senior team as a result of his efforts this season. Vitor Roque has also maintained his excellent form with his team, Athletico Paranaense. The player has already produced 7 goals and 2 assists in 14 outings for the club this season. His goal-scoring powers were on display once more, as he scored a fine goal in a vital encounter against Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo.

The youngster was a significant player in this encounter. Foremostly he made the difference that helped his team to come out on top. He scored the opening goal for his club after a beautiful ball from ex-Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho. Vitor Roque levelled the game after Gabigol had given his opponents the lead with a penalty. Later in the game, he scored another goal but it was ruled out for offside. He was also instrumental in his team’s second goal which was scored by Erick. Meanwhile, FC Barcelona will be happy to note the youngster’s excellent form at the moment.

Barcelona has shown interest for the player for some months. Vitor Roque has indicated that he’s willing to wait for an approach from the Catalans before considering offers from other major European teams to take the next step in his career.
