William Alves signs for Sreenidi Deccan FC

Sreenidi Deccan FC has signed up forward William Alves de Oliveira (also known as William Alves) for the upcoming season of I-League. Sreenidi FC have added firepower to their attack with the addition of William Alves.

William Alves: Player profile

William started off career in known Brazilian club Botafogo. He made his debut for Botafogo in Copa Sudamericana. He came to AS Trencin in winter 2012-2013 and signed three- and half-year contract and made his debut for AS Trencin in a friendly match.  In winter 2013–2014, he left the club due to a disagreement between AS Trencin and Botafogo. Alves signed a three-year contract with fellow Corgon Liga club MSK Zilina in January 2014. He had around 70 appearances for the club and scoring for them 17 times.

In January 2016, William was transferred to Turkish club Kayserispor. He also played for GD Chaves in the Portuguese Primera Liga before moving to the Saudi Pro League to play for Al-Fayha and Al-Faisaly.

said the player on signing for the club.

Sreenidi Deccan FC will be looking out to play their best this season, as they missed out their chance to qualify to the Indian Super League (ISL) in the previous season to Punjab FC. The club will play their 3rd season in the I-League after joining the Indian Football circuit.
