AC Milan is said to be preparing a bid for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt. The German has been the subject of multiple transfer rumours and Milan is the latest club to register their interest.

The latest news is coming from Gazzetta Dello Sport, who reports that Milan are considering to bring Julian Brandt in the attacking midfield position. Milan are in need of reinforcement in their midfield, especially with Champions League to play this season.

Brandt has not been featuring heavily for Borussia Dortmund and is ready to look elsewhere. Dortmund are also ready to sell the player, but only for the right price. AC Milan are said to be preparing an initial loan offer with the option to buy, inorder to secure Brandt.

AC Milan are in need of an attacking midfielder after departure of Hakan Calhanoglu. Though the club has secured the service of Brahim Diaz for another season, they need a more experienced figure in the centre of middle.

The club is interested in Croatian Nikola Vlasic, but could be find it diffcult to meet his asking price. Brandt on the other hand is a transfer the Rossoneri can complete. Milan is said to be ready to offer a single year loan deal for €5m with an option to buy him for €22m.

Brandt has not been able to cement his place in the Dortmund midfield and the club is ready to sell him. Clubs like Arsenal and Lazio were in the race for the midfielder, but seem to have cooled off. There were also talks that the player will be looking to stay at Dortmund and fight for his place under new manager Marco Rose.

However, if AC Milan can meet the requirements put forward by Dortmund a deal could be made for the German. The 25-year-old has appeared 87 time for Dortmund in all competition, scoring 11 goals and assisting 15 times for them.
