According to a report from Italy, Arsenal has been expressing interest in acquiring Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno. The report emphasizes AC Milan’s entry into the pursuit of the center-back. It suggests that the task for AC Milan may not be straightforward, as they not only have to contend with competition from Arsenal and Inter Milan but also navigate negotiations with Torino chairman Urbano Cairo.
Will Arsenal participate in an auction for Buongiorno?
Alessandro Buongiorno currently has a contract until 2028. Meanwhile reports say that Torino’s officials are seeking approximately €35 million. That is to consider releasing him after the conclusion of this season.
La Repubblica suggests that Torino is optimistic about Arsenal meeting the fee. Thus, he anticipates triggering an ‘auction’ next summer involving Mikel Arteta’s side, Inter Milan, and AC Milan for the player’s services.
