Barcelona keen to sign Brazilian teenage strikers

According to Joaquim Piera of SPORT, Barcelona has shown interest in two strikers: Vitor Roque of Athletico Paranaense and Kaua Elias of Fluminense.

Athletico Paranaense attacker Vitor Roque has been Barcelona’s primary target. Hence according to Joaquim Piera, manager Xavi Hernandez has also given his ‘OK’ to the transfer of the 18-year-old prodigy. The club’s technical secretariat has confidence of the 18-year-old’s ability and sees similarities between him and club legend Luis Suarez. The 18-year-old is a terrific finisher with both feet and strong in the air. He comes with exceptional movement and the ability to successfully link up play in the final third.
Furthermore, Roque’s profile contrasts with that of Lewandowski, giving the team more tactical versatility up top, which is appealing to Barcelona.

The Blaugrana’s interest in Roque has become apparent at this point. Barca names him their top target in the forthcoming transfer window to improve the No. 9 position. For his part, the 18-year-old prodigy wants to transfer to Spotify Camp Nou. But his valuation is proving to be a stumbling block for Barcelona, who are still dealing with Financial Fair Play issues.

In addition, Roque has attracted considerable interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United. Barcelona, on the other hand, is not giving up and is looking for methods to sign Roque this summer.

Kaua Elias is a new target for Catalans

In terms of the second young attacking prospective being tracked by Barcelona, Kaua Elias attracted the Catalans’ attention during the recent South American U-17 Championship. Reports claims the club scout was in attendance giving back very favourable reports on the young striker. Kaua Elias, a Fluminense’s U-20 player, may receive promotion to the first-team setup soon.

And Barça are keeping a close eye on the 17-year-old’s growth, though there are no urgent intentions to make an offer for him. Since the Catalans are keen on signing the Brazil international Vitor Roque.
