Juventus had an impressive transfer window economically among all Italian clubs

22 players

The Italian giants have completed a number of deals this summer in order to bolster their squad. More importantly, the transfer window has bolstered the financial position of the club as well. Juventus signed Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria, Gleison Bremer, Filip Kostic, Leandro Paredes and Arek Milik this summer.

However, the club sold Matthijs De Ligt in a big money sale to Bayern Munich. The club also let Paulo Dybala, Arthur, and Denis Zakaria leave this summer. Juventus has reportedly generated €30 million profit from transfer sales. The club has also freed up to €20 million on the wage bill as a result of the transfer activity.

This is impressive transfer business from the Old Lady as the squad has improved this summer. The improvement has not come at a high price and the ownership will be pleased with the window. However, it is important for Juventus to capitalize on this financial and sporting advantage this season.

Juventus needs to perform as per expectations after good business

The club has not started the season well and has only managed to earn 9 points from the first 5 games. However, Manager, Massimiliano Allegri will hope to turn things around and challenge for the title. With acquisitions like Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria, the Manager cannot complain about the quality in the squad.

The club has improved in all areas over the course of this window and has given the Manager, a host of options. Juventus will want to assert their dominance in Serie A and also hope to string a good run in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The performances of Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba, and Dusan Vlahovic are crucial for the success of the team. The club has spent a huge amount on the Serbian striker and has deposed their faith in Di Maria and Pogba to provide for the striker. If the club wants to win trophies this season, the form of these three players is very very important.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see where Juventus actually end up at the conclusion of the season, and hopefully, the Bianconeri can live up to the expectations!!
