Juventus’ Ronaldo, Almost 36, Wants to Play Football for Many Years

Cristiano Ronaldo insists that he has no plans of retiring at Juventus soon. He wants to continue to play football for many more years.

The Portuguese talisman has been Juventus’ main man upfront. Where he has scored 16 goals and has given 2 assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.

His current contract with Turin runs till 2022. And as of now, he looks to remain in Turin until he fulfills the promises he has made. Which is to win the Champions League with Juventus. Therefore, there are no plans of him sealing a move away from Turin.

Ronaldo to stay at Juventus?

Ronaldo has downplayed rumours that he is looking to hang up his boots very soon. And he says that he looks forward to playing more professional football despite turning 36 in February.

The Portuguese had scoped up the Globe player of the Century Award. Which is an award given to a player who has shown his qualities on a consistent basis and has helped his club win different accolades.

Therefore, Ronaldo won the award as he has show his qualities throughout his career and for Juventus. In a recent interview with Globe Soccer, he said

“I still feel good, sharp and in a good moment in my life. I hope to play many, many years more, but you never know. If you feel motivated, it doesn’t matter. Cristiano now is good,”

Therefore, it can be said that Ronaldo isn’t planning on retiring soon and looks forward to winning more titles with Juventus. Juventus take on Udinese on the 4th of January and Ronaldo will play an important role in order to move upwards in the Serie A table.
