Recently promoted to I-League, Delhi FC are set to rope in defender Lalramchullova. The team promoted to the I-League 2023-24 season after winning the I-League qualifiers.
Lalramchullova: Player profile
The player was born in Mizoram, where he started his career with Aizawl FC. Lalramchullova made his professional debut for Aizawl in the I-League against the reigning champions, Mohun Bagan. He came on as an 80th minute substitute as Aizawl lost 3–1. He made 34 appearances for the team scoring 2 goals. After that he joined East Bengal in 2017 and became a regular starter for the team. Lalramchullova found back of the net 2 times after having 53 appearances. He spent two seasons with East Bengal before moving on to join arch-rivals Mohun Bagan in 2019.
He joined Mohun Bagan for a season. But hedid not get much game time in their title winning campaign. In the following season, East Bengal club announced the signing of Lalramchullova from Mohun Bagan for the upcoming season. But he did not get any game time with the club.
Most recently, the player played for Mohammedan SC in the 2021-22 I-League season where he netted 4 goals with having 123 appearances for the club.
Delhi FC will be looking to become champions of the league as promotion started to the Indian Super League from the previous season.
