Manchester United join the Race to sign Christopher Nkunku. The Red Devils have reportedly emerged as one of the clubs to land Nkunku. The RB Leipzig Winger is on the radar of both Manchester clubs in England because of his performance this season. The Frenchman scored an incredible Hat-trick against Manchester City in a High goal-scoring UEFA Champions League Group stage match.

However, RB Leipzig lost to City by 6-3 at the Etihad Stadium. But, Christopher Nkunku was the highlight as he scored three goals against the reigning Premier League Champions. The 24-year-old has been in sensational form for his Bundesliga club during the 2021-22 campaign, he found the back of the net 13 times and registered 9 Assists by making 20 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has also shown interest in Christopher Nkunku. The Big names in English Football are chasing Nkunku which now includes Manchester United as well. All these clubs are looking at the Possibility to bring the Frenchman into their team during the January transfer window. Ralf Ragnick is an admirer of Christopher Nkunku and he would like to bring him to Old Trafford.

According to the reports from Germany, Ralf Ragnick wants to revolutionize the club’s attack by bringing RB Leipzig pair Christopher Nkunku, Amadou Haidara and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. Rangnick was the Sporting Director at Salzburg when Haaland blew up in Austria during the winter of 2019. The Norwegian scored 28 goals in 22 games before sealing an £18million move to Dortmund at the start of 2020. 

Meanwhile, Sportsmail revealed earlier this week, RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara is also on Manchester United’s shortlist with the club’s scouts set to watch the Mali international against Union Berlin on Friday night. 

German Journalist Christian Falk has claimed that Rangnick tried to sign Christopher Nkunku for Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018. However, the Frenchman eventually joined the Bundesliga outfit in 2019. Nkunku is on United’s watchlist after impressing for the Bundesliga side over the past two years. The France Under-21 international already has 13 goals in 19 matches in all competitions this term.

The former PSG man has a contract at the German club until June 2024. He has found the back of the net 25 times and registered 36 assists in 104 appearances for RB Leipzig in all competitions.
