Nico Paz regarded as the brightest young talent for Los Blancos

This season, Alvaro Rodriguez has thrilled critics with his efforts, while Sergio Arribas is also earning first-team minutes.

According to El Debate (via Madrid Xtra), another Real Madrid academy youngster, Nico Paz, could be destined for success. The youngster is presently playing for the Under-19 squad, but he could make his first team debut soon.

Paz, a central midfielder, joined the Real Madrid junior academy in the summer of 2016. He has had remarkable growth in La Fabrica since then. At the age of 18, he has emerged as a key member of the U19 squad. He provided one goal and three assists in the Primera Federacion this season. Paz has also played for Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League, scoring five goals. However the squad was eliminated in the last eight by eventual champions AZ Alkmaar. Nonetheless, according to the report, Paz has an excellent reputation in the Real Madrid camp, with the Argentine starlet regarded as the club’s best youth talent.

The 18-year-old youngster is said to have caught some first-team players by surprise. And, as we approach the end of the season, some at the club believe he is ready to make his senior debut. With Real Madrid out of contention for the league title, coach Carlo Ancelotti may experiment with team selection in league matches in order to preserve his stars fit for UCL matches. As a result, Paz may be able to obtain regular minutes for the rest of the campaign. Paz’s possible run of opportunities might begin this weekend when Real Madrid hosts Almeria.
