Sarthak’s thoughts on joining Chennaiyin FC:

“I am very excited to start my new journey with Chennaiyin FC and I’m happy and proud to be a part of this family. Looking forward to meeting my new teammates and everyone involved with the team, and can’t wait for a great season ahead.”

Chennaiyin FC may emerge as one of the tough opponents:

Though Chennaiyin FC was knocked out of the Durand Cup quarterfinal, the side looked promising throughout the tournament. With the return of their former coach, Owen Coyle, the Marina Machans will do their best to bring back their past glory.

Though Chennayin FC has let their club captain, Anirudh Thapa, go to Mohun Bagan SG, they have signed Connor Shields, Jordan Murray, Rafael Crivellaro, Farukh Choudhary, Ayush Adhikari, Ankit Mukherjee, Cristian Battocchio, and other players. With the addition of the new players, the Chennaiyin FC squad is looking more promising than last year, and they are hoping for some good results in the upcoming Hero ISL season.
