Youssoufa Moukoko decides to join Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund?

Youssoufa Moukoko’s contract will expire next summer and various clubs are eyeing for the star’s next destination. Even though Moukoko is to Chelsea and Liverpool, recent reports speak of Barcelona’s lead in the race for the player.

After returning from the Fifa World Cup, transfer rumors have already begun to circulate around him. Dortmund has produced big young players in the names of Haaland, Sancho, and Bellingham. Even though Moukoko played a total of 59 matches for Dortmund, looks like he is ready to depart soon.

Youssoufa Moukoko to Barcelona?

A Spanish outlet recently revealed Moukoko’s decision of joining Barcelona on a free transfer move. Barcelona already has Ousmane Dembele and Robert Lewandowski, two ex-Dortmund players in the squad. Whether he will fit with the Barca side is a question for many.

Youssoufa Moukoko can play on either wing and also as a centre forward as he scored 11 goals in 44 matches throughout. He first grabbed the attention of social media when he scored 141 goals in 88 matches for Dortmund’s U17 and 19 teams.

while no official statement is given by Barcelona, Chelsea will definitely fear about the player’s potential move. Just weeks ago, Chelsea were the favorite in signing the German footballer.

With Armando Broja’s injury, Chelsea were looking to sign the young German who can be a valuable asset in the squad. Moukoko is even called the next Haaland in Germany and Liverpool, Manchester City are also interested in him.

However, Youssoufa Moukoko has urged supporters to ignore those links by insisting that his focus remains on Borussia Dortmund.

“Please don’t believe everything that’s in the newspaper. I know it is all part of the football business now, but even though I’m still young, I won’t let myself be put under pressure about the future,” Moukoko recently wrote on social media.”

In spite of Chelsea’s interest in the forward, seems like Barcelona is going to enjoy the privileges of the young talented Moukoko.
