Arsenal predicted XI as they welcome West Ham to the Emirates

Arsenal pushed Manchester City hard last season, and I believe that experience made them a better and more mature team. However, it won’t be easy this season either. Liverpool are back to being a force to be reckoned with, and City are still a strong team despite their recent struggles. This is a very crucial period, and Arsenal will be determined to get the better of West Ham. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is likely to field his strongest starting XI in the London derby against the Hammers.

Arsenal predicted XI

David Raya is the number one goalkeeper and will be between the posts against West Ham. Ben White has done well at right-back despite being a center-back by trade. The former Brighton man will most likely keep his place in the team. William Saliba and Gabriel are the two main center-backs at Arsenal and also one of the best center-back pairings in the Premier League. They will start against West Ham. Oleksandr Zinchenko will most likely be the left-back for the Gunners.

Former West Ham starboy, Declan Rice, has taken his game to another level since arriving at the Emirates this summer. He is one of the first names on the teamsheet. Martin Odegaard will start as well. He has been one of the most important players in the Arsenal XI for the last couple of seasons and is starting to get back to his best. The third midfielder spot will be a toss-up between Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard. Havertz is starting to play well and Trossard has done well whenever given an opportunity. I think Arteta sees Havertz in the strongest Arsenal XI, that’s why he may get the nod over Trossard for the West Ham game.

The front-three picks itself for Arsenal. Bukayo Saka will start on the right and will have Gabriel Martinelli on the left flank. Gabriel Jesus will be deployed as the number 9.
