Real Madrid on the lookout for Leroy Sane this summer

Leroy Sane

According to a recent report from Fichajes, Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane. The report also suggests that the Spanish giants are keen to bring the German international to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sane has been having a productive season at Bayern Munich, performing well on the right side of their attack. The 27-year-old scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 32 matches across all competitions this season.

Furthermore, Leroy Sane has been impressive in the attacking third. With 2.6 shots, 1.2 key passes, and 2.7 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. He has also been efficient with his passing. Completing 82.8% of his attempted passes in the German top tier.

Sane has a long-term contract with Bayern Munich, which is set to expire in the summer of 2025. Therefore, it will be difficult for Real Madrid to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.

How can Sane improve Real Madrid’s attack?

Sane’s speed allows him to make penetrating runs down the flanks, creating dangerous opportunities. He also possesses the vision to play incisive passes in and around the opponent’s box. He can also strike the ball with precision and power from long range. The German attacker is capable of both scoring goals and providing assists in the final third. Although he mainly operates on the right flank, he is versatile enough to play on the left or even in a central attacking role if needed.

With his speed, skills, and versatility, Leroy Sane could bring a new dimension to Real Madrid’s attack under Carlo Ancelotti. His ability to create and score goals from the wide areas. As well as his potential to play in multiple positions, would make him a valuable asset to the team. As he is still in his prime years, the German international could be a long-term solution for Madrid’s attacking needs. It will even help them compete for trophies at both domestic and European levels in the coming seasons.
