Since then, Stuttgart’s trajectory has been on an upward trajectory without any signs of slowing down. Come January, another clause will come into effect, demanding only a €17.5 million fee for activation. Despite reports in Germany suggesting that the Guinean has no immediate plans to leave in January, even if we were to remain skeptical of such statements, it’s challenging to picture Guirassy making a move to a club of Real Madrid’s stature.
This assessment has little to do with his skill level. As a former French youth international, the striker has consistently been held in high regard. Furthermore, the type of goals that Guirassy consistently scores, rather than the sheer quantity, indicates that his consistent performance is sustainable, although not necessarily at the remarkable rate he’s achieving at present.
Recurring injury problems and various other issues have plagued him in the past. And there is a concern that we may be witnessing a resurgence of these setbacks. Guirassy recently suffered a hamstring tweak against Union Berlin. Immediately after finding the net, and is currently in the sidelines for several weeks.
Considering his injury history, age, and prior challenges, it would be prudent for a prestigious club like Real Madrid to exercise caution when considering his acquisition. It appears more feasible that a club such as Fulham would be inclined to take a chance on him.
