Former Tottenham Hotspur player Aaron Lennon thinks Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has been on fire this season.

After Gareth Southgate decided not to include Raheem Sterling in England’s most recent team, Aaron Lennon was talking about the player on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel FIVE.
Graeme Souness, a great of Liverpool, did not agree with the choice.

Lennon, who has a wealth of experience playing as a winger, must have been pleased with Sterling’s play thus far this season.
Redemption for Raheem Sterling
On FIVE, he said of the 28-year-old, “He’s on fire this season.” According to him, he wasn’t playing at his best and other things because of an injury last season, but this season he’s played really well.
“He’s eluding defenders once more.” He’s generating opportunities and netting goals.
The statistics support Sterling’s great dribbling this season.

The fact that Sterling was just kicked out of the England team will not sit well with him. But Southgate will be unable to leave him out of his squad for Euro 2024 if he continues to perform as well as he has this season.
