Football Transfers reports that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has decided the fate of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Meanwhile, the same source has disclosed the asking price set by The Gunners for Ramsdale.

As per Football Transfers, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, is receptive to the possibility of Aaron Ramsdale departing. That is either in the upcoming January transfer window or during the summer of 2024. The report specifies that Arsenal holds Ramsdale in high regard and is not proactively seeking to part ways with him. But they would be willing to facilitate a transfer if an offer of £50 million is there, and the goalkeeper expresses a desire to move.

The report indicates that Arsenal’s manager, Arteta, is receptive to the idea of the 25-year-old departing. Provided he strongly expresses the desire to do so, whether in the upcoming January transfer window or in the summer of 2024.

Intriguingly, 90min has conveyed that Arsenal is willing to allow Ramsdale to depart. But with the condition that it happens only at the conclusion of the season.

What did reports say about Ramsdale leaving Arsenal?

According to the 90min report, Ramsdale expresses a preference to depart from Arsenal. Even considering a loan arrangement in January to secure consistent playing time. Paul Robinson, a former goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur, has advised the 25-year-old English goalkeeper to pursue a departure from Arsenal in January. There are speculations that Manchester United is considering a move for Ramsdale.

It is not advisable for Arsenal to part ways with Aaron Ramsdale during the January transfer window. The Gunners should retain the goalkeeper until the season concludes. Despite David Raya taking on the role of the primary goalkeeper at Arsenal, the team should maintain Ramsdale. Despite occasional errors by the Spain international, Manager Mikel Arteta continues to favor him over Ramsdale.

Nevertheless, Raya does not rank among the elite goalkeepers. He does not match the consistent, world-class performances displayed by players like Alisson or Ederson week after week. Whatever be the case, having Ramsdale in the squad could prove beneficial for Arsenal.
