The Indian women’s football team has selected two Simdega players for the national camp. According to media reports on February 26, 2023, they are Vikas Bada and Soulina Dang. It is for the Under-17 SAFF Women’s Football Championship 2023.

From March 20 to March 29, Bangladesh will host the Under-17 SAFF Women’s Football Championship 2023.

It is reported that for this tournament, the All-India Football Federation tested out more than 100 women football players.
