Barcelona already looking forward to the next summer transfer window having eyed bringing three stars next season. The list includes the names of Dani Olmo, Paul Pogba, and Erling Haaland, which looks to be a high spending list. And following Barcelona’s current situation it doesn’t look like they can pull off all the three.

The Catalans have been in the market this summer looking for a holding midfielder or central midfielder, but the plan failed. The club got close to sign free-agent Georginio Wijnaldum this summer, but the Dutchman choose PSG over Barcelona. Following which their planning of replacing Sergio Busquets failed.

However, next summer Joan Laporta might be looking forward to signing two midfielders to have a midfield boost. And for doing that Barcelona are keeping tabs on youngster Dani Olmo and Manchester United star Paul Pogba. The 23-year-old youngster is currently playing for RB Leipzig but has his desire to return to Spain in near future. While Olmos’ contract with Leipzig is going to end in 2024, following which the German side might at least 40 million for the youngster.

Moving into Paul Pogba, the Frenchman is in his last year of the contract and is yet to pen down a new one with Manchester United. The red devils have already tabled an offer for Pogba weeks ago but the talks didn’t go well. Following which Barcelona might be thinking of swooping the Frenchman as a free agent next summer. However, the Catalans might face tough competition from their La Liga rivals Real Madrid for Paul Pogba.

Lastly, Erling Haaland, the Norwegian prodigy is a well-known hot target for top European clubs next summer. And Barcelona are one of them who have been interested in bringing the prolific striker to their squad. However, the Catalans couldn’t do it as they are falling short financially.

But as per reports, Joan Laporta might use his connection with Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola to sign the youngster next summer. However, it would not be an easy job as many sharks are lurking around Haaland. So, let’s wait and see if Barcelona can execute their plan of signing those three players.
