Barcelona not interested in signing Roberto Firmino for free

According to reports, Liverpool offered the Brazilian forward Firmino to Barcelona. Since Firmino has just one year remaining on his current contract and is yet to agree on a new deal. However, Barcelona declined the opportunity to sign Firmino on a free transfer.

Recent reports suggest that Barcelona rejected the opportunity to sign Roberto Firmino during the upcoming summer transfer window on a free transfer. Thus, putting an end to rumors linking the Liverpool forward with a move to the Camp Nou.

Why did Barcelona suddenly change their decision?

According to Marca, Barcelona were offering the chance to sign Roberto Firmino in the upcoming summer transfer window. But the club has decided not to pursue the Brazilian forward. Barcelona is aware of Firmino’s abilities but they don’t believe he’s the right fit to bolster their attacking line.
