Bayern Munich already made the decision to retain Noussair Mazraoui

Italian goalkeeper

As per a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Bayern Munich intends to retain Noussair Mazraoui at the Allianz Arena. Despite interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United, the Bundesliga champions are not willing to let go of their recent acquisition.

Upon leaving Ajax as a free agent last summer, Noussair Mazraoui had a range of clubs vying for his signature. Barcelona and several Premier League teams expressed interest in securing the services of the Moroccan full-back. However, he ultimately opted for a Bosman move to Bayern Munich, where he would play for the 2022/23 season.

Despite facing challenges to make a significant impact at the Allianz Arena this season, the 25-year-old Mazraoui’s value has not diminished. The talented defender, formerly of Ajax, started only 14 matches in various competitions. Nevertheless, his reputation remains high, as Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United retain their interest in acquiring his services.

Will Bayern Munich be able to keep Noussair Mazraoui?

Barcelona’s desire to secure the Bosman signing of Mazraoui, the Moroccan full-back, was previously mentioned. Despite their unsuccessful attempt to acquire him last summer, Barcelona’s interest in Mazraoui persists. This interest aligns with the fact that the Catalan club has yet to identify a suitable successor for Dani Alves. Therefore, the out-of-favor player from Bayern Munich presents a viable option for Barcelona.

In the meantime, Manchester United will make an effort to secure the services of Mazraoui during the upcoming summer transfer window. Given the uncertain future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Old Trafford, the 25-year-old full-back presents a viable target for the club. However, Bayern Munich has made it clear that they will not entertain any offers for the player.

Despite Mazraoui’s frustrations over limited playing time, Bayern Munich remains unwilling to let go of the Moroccan international. As a result, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United will need to redirect their attention to alternative options for the right-back position during the upcoming summer transfer window.
