Bayern Munich offered Bosnian talent Kovačević to replace Manuel Neuer

Munich Sommer

Bayern Munich is still looking for a goalkeeper. Agent Franjo Vranjkovi has publicly offered his client to the German Rekordmeister as a replacement for the injured Manuel Neuer. The Bosnian talent Kovačević is the offer given to Bayern Munich. According to his agent, Kovačević is the best young goalkeeper in Europe.

Kovačević is 6’4 (1.92m) and 24 years of age. After playing for Sarajevo previously, he has been at his current club in the Polish top flight since 2021. He has a contract expiring in 2026 and Transfermarkt rates him at a value of 5 million euros.

Bayern Munich targets several goalkeepers

In this transfer window, Glabach appears unwilling to cooperate with Bayern over Swiss international Yann Sommer. The club has also moved on from two stars of last month’s Men’s World Cup, Croatian Dominik Livakovic and Moroccan Yassine Bono. Neither of them will be cheap after their latest World Cup achievements.

As Bayern prepares for the Champions League knockouts, perhaps it is time to start looking at under-the-radar candidates to back up Sven Ulreich. Borussia Monchengladbach’s Yann Sommer is also on the radar to become Neuer’s replacement.

There have been a couple of other shouts among the BFW staff as well. There are also Venezuelan Wuilker Farez of RC Lens in Ligue 1 and Argentina’s Walter Benitotez of PSV in the Eredivisie coming from CCyler. In the same vein, RLD has picked two keepers in the Austrian Bundesliga: Swiss keeper Philipp Köhn of RB Salzburg and Austrian Alexander Schlager of LASK.
