Bino George to coach 2nd division club Kerala United FC

Second Division I-League club Kerala United FC have announced Bino George as their newly appointed head coach on Monday. He has earlier coached Kerala United FC back in 2012 for a period of seven-month.

George is the only coach from Kerala with an AFC Pro License. He has a massive 14 years of managerial expertise in coaching clubs.

He started his coaching career as an assistant manager at Viva Kerala for five straight years. Later in 2012, he joined Quartz FC (now known as Kerala United FC) as their head coach. He has also coached Kolkata-based club United SC over two years. After completing his spell at United SC George moved to Gokulam Kerala FC in 2017.

In 2019 George joined Gokulam Kerala FC as their Technical Director. During his TD post at Gokulam Kerala FC, the club had victory-laden years by winning major tournaments such as Duran Cup, Indian Women’s League, and the I-League 2020.

The Hornbills are going to take part in the I-League qualifiers which will commence from September at Bengaluru. As the head coach George will try to make a strong team that can compete among all others clubs in the Qualifiers.
