According to reports, Chelsea may look to the Premier League in January to reinforce their midfield.
TalkSPORT reports that the Blues are keeping an eye on Amadou Onana. And that elite teams are undoubtedly keeping a close watch on the Everton issue.
Onana had previously been linked to Chelsea.
This was prior to them making many signings for the present and the future that radically transformed their midfield.
Injury Crisis
Lesley Ugochukwu was signed by the team. Demonstrating their confidence in the young player’s future.
Romeo Lavia met the same end. Albeit he hasn’t actually played for the team yet because of an injury he sustained shortly after joining.
Amadou Onana seems viable
The star addition, though, was Moises Caicedo. After intense talks, the club agreed to pay a record amount for him in the next transfer window to acquire him from Brighton.
There are many who believe Onana would be the greatest contribution of all if he were included as well.
Everton is rumoring to think he can surpass Caicedo both technically and mentally, which would put him at the top of the game.
The Premier League recently punished them 10 points, which should put Cheslea on notice for any charges they may face for internal problems.
But as of right now, it doesn’t appear to have affected their transfer plans. They are still rumoring to be in interest in signing a top striker in January.
