Eden Hazard might be reportedly making his way to his former club Chelsea as Real Madrid are interested in a €50 million transfer fee.

Los Blancos were knocked out by the Blues in the semi-finals of the Champions League. But, Hazard couldn’t inspire his new club against his former club and he might be thinking of a reunion. Additionally, his laugh with Kurt Zouma and others after losing the match had made things even worse as the La Liga club might get rid of him. But, he apologized later after the match.

The 30-year-old Belgian skipper hasn’t had a good time at his dream club and ending his career as a Chelsea Legend is still on the cards. Although his contract expires three years later, he might be on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard – to retire as a legend at Chelsea?

Eden Hazard joined the Madrid club in 2019 after winning the Europa League with Chelsea. Amidst all the big expectations, it seems Hazard is not upto the mark at his current club. He is struggling with a lot of injuries and fitness issues and thus, lack of playing time.

According to Spanish media outlet ABC, it is rumored that the Belgian left forward may be leaving Santiago Bernabeu. He has been in poor form scoring just four goals in 40 appearances so far for the Galacticos. In contrast to this, his teammate Thibaut Courtois has been brilliant since joining the Spanish club.

Hazard had a night to forget after his team were outclassed by Thomas Tuchel coached Chelsea in the second leg at London. His transfer money was used by the Pensioners so as to buy Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, both in form of their lives at their new club. However, a potential swap deal for Paul Pogba is still on the cards.

The Premier League side’s coach Tuchel is a great fan of Hazard. The tactician has big respect for the Belgian legend. He said,

He is a top-quality player and a key player for many years at this club and this league, the hardest in the world.

Real Madrid still have a chance to win silverware as they host Sevilla in the La Liga. Whereas Chelsea have two trophies to be won. Leicester City faces them in the FA Cup final whereas Manchester City locks horns in the Champions League final.
