One bright spot from their performance over the weekend versus Los Blancos was Fermin Lopez contribution.

Lopez was a bright spot for Barça. His inclusion in the starting lineup was crucial to the team’s early dominance. His performance was a continuation of his recent excellent performance.

Spanish Coach In Attendance

Coach Luis de la Fuente of Spain’s national squad was one of the notable people there this weekend.

The Spaniard even noted Lopez performance against Real Madrid. As well as the other young players Xavi Hernandez had fielded, according to Mundo Deportivo.

This is not the first time Fermin Lopez has raised eyebrows with his performance, though. He was named Man of the Match in Barcelona’s win over Shakhtar Donetsk and even prior to that, the youngster had made some exciting cameos off the bench.

However, Fermin Lopez has already caused a stir with his performances.
When La Roja plays Georgia and Cyprus next month, Lopez may be the next unexpected addition to the Spanish team, based on all the indications.

Fermin Lopez Growth

After making an impact during Barcelona’s pre-season training earlier this summer, Lopez has set off on an exciting route of personal growth, and a call-up to the Spanish national team will further legitimize that path.

Earlier this month, Lopez participated in matches for Spain’s U21 team against Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The 20-year-old appears to be prepared to play at the senior level for his nation. He may make his debut next month.

Luis de la Fuente was monitoring not just Fermin Lopez but also other young Barcelona players, including Alejandro Balde, Gavi, and Lamine Yamal.
