German Captain shows discontent on Barcelona

ILKAY GUNDOGAN - MANCHESTER CITY

German captain Ilkay Gundogan has not been impressed with Barcelona since arriving at the club. According to reports in Catalonia.

Viral Talk

After his outburst in the wake of defeat to Real Madrid in El Clasico, Gundogan has been on the covers of the sports papers in recent days. He raised eyebrows again after leaving a Barcelona photo op during the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Gundogan is aware that joining Barcelona has catapulted him into a different stratosphere. In terms of impact and popularity, but Sport says that internally, the standards are lower than at Manchester City.

German Captain Deserted

According to Sport, Gundogan and his family—which in this case included a baby—were not accorded the kind of reception they had anticipated upon their arrival at the club. The Gundogan family felt unsupported in terms of paperwork, logistics, and even housing searches. He expressed this sense of desertion toward the club.

It was also not an indication of a seamless operation that Gundogan took so long to register. Apart from the training pitch, he thought the club was a little lacking overall.

Blaugrana Apology

The German Captain received an apology from the Blaugrana, but apparently this is a frequent experience for new Barcelona recruits. Unlike at other clubs, academy products are required to arrange their own transportation to the training area.

Although many individuals, who must clearly handle these matters themselves, may find it fairly insignificant, Barcelona is in competition with other top clubs to recruit players. They are now relying more on their reputation than their income, so if players don’t talk well of Barcelona or suggest it, it won’t help them convince elite players to forgo financial compensation in order to play for the team.
