I-League Outfit Neroca FC signs Tamil Nadu CM’s Grandson Inban Udhyanidhi

I-League outfit Neroca FC registered the signing of Tamil Nadu’s CM Stalin’s grandson Inban Udhyanidhi on a two-year contract, who was selected after a 10-day trial campaign in Chennai.

Inban Udhyanidhi plays as a midfielder and has now joined the North-Eastern side Neroca FC, who finished at the bottom of the I-League last season and also avoided relegation after the AIFF decided to not relegate the clubs for further losses.

Inban is a Class 12th Student whose love for football started when he was just a Small Kid, he was in Class 5th when his desire for Football started coming out. The 16-year-old Midfielder gave all the Credits to his Footballing Idol Cristiano Ronaldo for inspiring him to Pursue a Serious Interest in Football.

“I Admire Ronaldo’s aggression and dedication. I like how Real Madrid’s Midfielders Luka Modric and Casemiro work hard. I would watch all Real Madrid matches and eventually end up watching their Rivals’ matches as well.” he said to TOI

Inban the latest addition to Neroca ranks:

The North-Eastern side announced the signing of the 16-year-old via Twitter on August 25th, 2021. Inban is keen to remain Fit and Focused on making an Instant Impact for Neroca FC. The 16-year-old dreams of representing his National Country at the U-17 level and believes that performing well for his New Club might pave the way for his selection in the U-17 Indian Football Team.

It would be a Dream come true moment for the 16-year-old Midfielder if he succeeds to represent India on a Global Stage. On being asked about how his Grandfather Feels about his dream of becoming a Professional Footballer, he said: “I get to meet him (MK Stalin) only Once or Twice a week because of his busy schedule. We don’t speak much about sports. But I am sure he is supportive of my decision to become a Footballer”.

when asked about the National team aspirations he said: “That’s the dream. I want to represent my country. It will make my family happy and proud.”

Neroca FC has had a decent amount of success in the last 5-6 years as they won the League in the 2016-17 season and finished second the following year. They had a disappointing last season as they found themselves struggling at the bottom of the League Table.

Neroca FC has signed several other players including the 16-year-old Inban Udhyanidhi as they look forward to having a good season after a Poor Performance last season that saw them below every other team.
