Inter Milan will be holding a meeting with Nahitan Nandez to discuss about the details of a possible move. Cagliari are not willing to sell their player and plan to send him on loan instead. The type of deal will not be an issue for Inter who are desperate to get a wing-back. But the fee is certainly the elephant in the room.
The deal is likely to get through as talks with Hector Bellerin are not reaching a conclusion. Arsenal’s flash wants to leave the club and was Inter’s first choice. However, talks with Nandez have gone smoother and Bellerin is currently their second choice.
Achraf Hakimi’s departure forced Inter to go in search of a wing-back. The former Real Madrid player moved to PSG this summer along with a handful of other stars. Inter Milan will surely miss his presence in front of goal but they see different qualities in Nandez. His pace and tenacity are going to be a real asset for Inter.

Inter plan to get the player on a season long loan with an option to buy. Both the clubs have agreed on €26 million and personal terms too have been settled. Cagliari however want Inter to pay up the loan amount before the deal becomes permanent. Inter are willing to pay €3 million and nothing more. Cagliari hope that they can take that to at least €5 million.
