Bidyananda Singh career summed up

Bidyananda Singh appeared in only 10 games for Mumbai City FC during his two seasons with the club, largely as a substitute. He only made one appearance for the club, in a 5-2 loss against FC Goa. All ten of his appearances for Mumbai City FC, though, were in the 2019-20 season. Last season, he did not appear in a single match for the club.

His solitary ISL goal came in a dramatic 2-1 win for Mumbai against Jamshedpur FC. Mumbai had won thanks to a superb drive by Bidyananda in injury time. In the same season, he also assisted on a goal against Hyderabad FC.

In 2014, the Manipur native was one of two Indian players who attended a one-week program at the Aspire Academy in Qatar. Bidyananda joined the AIFF Elite Academy after returning from Qatar. In 2016, he signed with ISL club ATK but was traded to Bengaluru FC after only one season. He appeared in eight games for Bengaluru’s reserve team but was unable to make the senior team.
