Luis Machado has officially left NEUFC

Luis Machado has officially left his former club NEUFC. The 28-year old Portuguese player signed Radomiak, a Polish top division club.

“Thank you for the memories and we wish you the very best for your future endeavours,”NEUFC. The club thanked the player and wished him the best for his future. He bagged a total of 7 goals and two assists in his previous campaign.

“It’s time to say goodbye to NorthEast United. Very happy with the journey, which culminated with the team going to the semi-finals of the ISL champion play-off and at the individual level it couldn’t have been better: seven goals, two assists, one ‘Hero of the Match,’ one ‘Winning Pass of the Match,’ NEUFC’s top scorer at the time. I would like to thank all the fans who were amazing and tireless throughout the season, your support was essential and for that to all of you, my sincere thanks!”– Luis Machado

Luis’ career Insights:

The winger started his career in  USC Paredes and SC Freamunde in Portugal. Later he joined Liga NOS, Portugal’s top league. He shifted his base to India last summer with the highlanders.

Now the Footballer will play in for a top division Polish League system.

NEUFC is looking forward to the next campaign this year as they stood third last year and want to have a better performance this year.
