Paul -Jose M’Poku is a major target of Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters is interested in the Ex-Spurs star Paul Jose M’Poku to strengthen their attacking dimensions more solid. In the market, he is worth 11.6 crore rupees. Al-Wahda is the current club of the international player. The former Belgian also played for the DR Congo national team.

Paul has stated that he will be leaving Al Wahda this summer. Given his big salary and an offer from his former club Panathinaikos, it’s improbable that Paul will choose to play for Kerala Blasters in India.

Paul M’Poku’s professional life in a nutshell

Paul was born in Zaire and relocated to Belgium when he was a toddler. Prior to joining Tottenham’s development team in 2008, he was a member of Standard Liege’s youth system in Belgium. He joined Leyton Orient on loan after earning a professional contract with Spurs in 2009.

He later returned to Standard Liege in 2011, where he spent five years. During his time with the Belgian club, he was coached by Ivan Vukomanovic. After that, he went on loan to Italian clubs Cagliari and Chievo Verona. After earning a permanent contract with Chievo in 2015, he went on loan to Panathinaikos in Greece in 2016.

In 2017, he returned to Belgium to play for Standard Liege before joining Al Wahda in the United Arab Emirates in January 2020. In his club career, the 29-year-old has appeared in 359 games, scoring 63 goals and assisting 55 times.
Before making his senior national team debut for DR Congo in 2015, he played for Belgian youth teams.
