Jules Kounde furious with Sevilla as the club blocked his transfer to Chelsea

According to several reports, Jules Kounde is furious with Sevilla, as the Spanish side blocked his transfer to Chelsea this summer. The youngster had been hot property this summer with top European clubs willing to sign. However, Kounde had his heart set to join the Champions League winners Chelsea by agreeing to a transfer on a personal level.

With all those reports about Kounde linked with Chelsea it seemed likely that the Frenchman is set to fly for England. But as the transfer deadline day ended with no deal between Sevilla and Chelsea, Kounde’s dream was shattered. And now Kounde seems very angry with Sevilla board because of his failed transfer this summer.

The Blues was willing to offer a price of almost 50 million for signing the Frenchman permanently this season. While Chelsea sold Kurt Zouma to West Ham United to make space in the defensive line for Kounde. But Sevilla stayed firmed on not selling the youngster until Chelsea agrees to pay his release clause. And the Blues had no intention to pay 70 million for Jules Kounde. As a result of which the Frenchman has to stay with the La Liga side this season.

Failing to make his move to Chelsea it has impacted him deeply as we saw him getting a red for a nasty foul in France vs Bosnia and Herzegovina. While as per reports he has been not been picking up calls from Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui and director Monchi. And asking about the situation to Sevilla captain Ivan Rakitic he told about doing everything to comfort Kounde.

The Frenchman is a huge figure at the defensive line for Sevilla in the last 2 seasons. And now returning back to the club with a low mentality it will hard for the Sevilla defence this season. But let’s see how the club manages to keep the Frenchman happy after blocking his transfer.
