Lamine Yamal Limps his Way back to Barcelona

The timing of the international break could not have been more ideal for Barcelona. After all, with Lamine Yamal and Jules Kounde being the most recent additions to the list, the club was watching players fall victim to ailments like dominoes.

Yamal began the weekend match against Granada, but due to pain, he was taken off the pitch early. Tests later indicated a nearly ten-day layoff due to an injury to his left leg’s psoas iliacus muscle.

Lamine Yamal has joined the national team of Spain.

Barcelona said that even though the player had been medically verified to be injured, he would still be joining the Spanish National Team training.

To begin with, his injuries were not as bad as first thought. La Roja asked that their physicians reassess his condition and ascertain his availability.

There are rumors that the Spanish team wanted Lamine Yamal to play in at least one game. To make his third appearance. Anything like that would mean he would never be able to play for the Moroccan national team.

Returned to Barcelona

La Roja formally announced earlier today that Lamine Yamal will go back to Barcelona to finish his recuperation, as their medical experts agreed with Barcelona’s team’s diagnosis.

Yamal has returned to Catalonia. He is clearly limping in the photos from El Prat.
Xavi Hernandez will undoubtedly be hoping that the young player will be back in action when Barcelona plays Athletic Club following the international break.
Given the absence of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, he will be essential to the team’s prospects that evening. Even so, it looks like he will play in El Clasico.
