Madueke to be priced away from Leicester and Palace

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

PSV Eindhoven youngster Noni Madueke could be priced away from his Premier League admirers. Leicester City and Crystal Palace were the clubs interested in the 19-year-old.

News outlet Sun reported that PSV is demanding £20million for Madueke. This asking price is to fight off interest from Leicester and Palace.

Madueke has been gaining interest from multiple clubs most notably Borussia Dortmund. But PSV will be looking to hold on to the English winger after losing Donyell Malen this season. Leicester and Palace will thus have to meet the asking price if they are serious about signing Madueke.

MADUEKE EXPENSIVE FOR PALACE AND LEICESTER

Noni Madueke had a breakthrough season with PSV in the Eredivisie. In his 24 appearances, the young winger scored 7 goals while assisted for 6 goals. This attracted interest from Dortmund, who considered him as a replacement for Sancho.

The former Tottenham youth player is an excellent dribbler of the ball and is good at passing. His abilities have hence attracted the Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Leicester City. However, PSV are looking to hold on to him.

The Dutch side has already lost Donyell Malen this summer and could sell Denzel Dumfries if a good offer come by. Thus they are reluctant to sell another player as it would affect the squad quality.

Palace and Leicester are not looking to follow through in their interest. Both clubs are now evaluating other alternatives and Madueke could hence remain with the Dutch star for now.
