Manchester United

Reports say that Manchester United could face significant challenges in attempting to sign either Federico Chiesa from Juventus or Serge Gnabry from Bayern Munich during the upcoming January transfer window.

Manchester United is reportedly contemplating the acquisition of a new wide player at the beginning of 2024. This decision comes as Jadon Sancho may leave on loan. Due to his reported disagreement with head coach Erik ten Hag.

A recent report suggests that Federico Chiesa is a potential target for Manchester United. Since, the 25-year-old’s future at Juventus is currently under speculation and uncertainty.

Manchester United might not get the players they want

Serge Gnabry has also been in a link with a potential move to The Red Devils during the mid-season transfer window. With reports indicating that Bayern Munich may be open to offers for the Germany international. However, journalist Dean Jones suggests that both Federico Chiesa and Serge Gnabry are unlikely to be available for transfer during the winter market.

Federico Chiesa, who has scored four goals and provided one assist in seven Serie A appearances this season, has two years remaining on his contract with Juventus. Serge Gnabry, on the other hand, has a contract with Bayern Munich that runs until June 2026. Gnabry has made six appearances for Bayern this season, scoring once, notably in a Champions League match against Manchester United.

Jadon Sancho appears to have played his last game for his team. However, Antony made his return as a substitute in the match against Galatasaray on Tuesday following a period of absence. Manchester United will be looking to recover from consecutive home losses to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray. That is when they face Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
