Manchester United Rejecting Loan Offers for Donny Van de Beek

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Manchester United are rejecting loan offers coming for Donny Van de Beek in the January Transfer Window.

Manchester United signed Van de Beek in the summer of 2020 for €40 million. The Red Devils looked at his signing as an important one as they needed another robust midfielder who can be deployed alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

There were high expectations for Van de Beek as people looked forward to seeing the impact he would have. However, it seems as if he isn’t being utilized by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer currently.

Hence there were speculations that he might want to leave as he doesn’t see himself getting a fair chance to play under Ole Solskjaer.

MANCHESTER UNITED NOT INTERESTED IN OFFLOADING VAN DE BEEK

According to Mirror, the Premier League giants are not interested in loaning out the 23-year-old Dutch Midfielder. And they are ready to reject any loan offer that will come for him.

United, who are 1st in the Premier League, have a busy schedule ahead of themselves as they are going to face Liverpool tomorrow in the 4th round of the FA Cup. And then they would see themselves playing two more games in the month of January itself.

Despite getting only 279 minutes of playtime, United are looking forward to using the Dutch star against Liverpool.

Ole sees Van de Beek as a quality asset and already has plans of utilizing him more often. However, if he doesn’t play regularly for United then his place in the Dutch National Team can be under threat.

Therefore it will be interesting to see how Van de Beek is going to be utilized in the coming games for United. Donny Van de Beek is patient with his lack of game-time at Manchester United. However, it is to be seen how long his patience lasts.
