THE REUS SALIHAMIDZIC ISSUE

The whole issue started when Salihamidzic reacted to Reus pulling out of the German national team during the international break. While he understands why Reus could have injured himself, Salihamidzic was not happy with the fact the German appeared three days later against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga clash.

However, his statement was met with strong disagreement from Michael Zorc, who asked the Bayern executive to mind his own business. When asked about the whole problem during the press conference, Reus calmly dealt with it.

“Of course I noticed. But it didn’t really affect me. That’s all I have to say about it”– said, Reus. It is not new for rival clubs to criticize their opponents. However, Reus showed his class and experience by handling the issue well, before it got worse.
