Mohammedan SC ropes in Trinidadian Ace Marcus Joseph

After a sixth-place finish in the last I-League season, Mohammedan Sporting Club have strengthened their attack with Trinidadian star player Marcus Joshep. Marcus is the fourth and final foreign signing of the Mohammedan SC this season.

He started playing football for several clubs based in Trinidad. He has also 20 National caps during which he managed to score 7 goals. The 30 years old from Trinidad has already played in the I-league club Gokulam Kerala FC.

Recently Marcus represented Trinidad and Tobago in the CONCACAF Champions League, he netted one goal during the league.

He joined Gokulam Kerala FC in January 2019, during his stint at the Kozhikode-based club he scored 25 times for the club. He solely scored 11 goals for the Malabarians and led them to win the Durand Cup 2019 edition.

The West Bengal-based club is one of the earliest football clubs in the country founded back in the year 1891. The Club has above 130 years of footballing history. Now he will don the Black and White jersey and play at the Salt Lake stadium for the club.

Marcus usually plays in the centre-forward position yet he can also play as a left-winger. His skill will add great value to the Mohammedan squad.

Andrey Chernyshov the Russian manager of the Black Panthers will preferably pair Stefan Ilić and Marcus Joshep in the attacking dimension.
