PSG enters the race for Karim Adeyemi

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi is attracting interest from all the top clubs in the world. The latest to join the race for his signature is French giants PSG.

This is according to Sky Deutschland, who are reporting that PSG is preparing to sign Adeyemi as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe seems to be moving away to Real Madrid at the end of the season, and Adeyemi could be brought to fill the gap.

However, PSG is not alone as Adeyemi has been strongly linked with Liverpool. Apart from them, the German duo of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also in the mix.

IMPRESSIVE ADEYEMI CAPTURING PSG INTEREST

Adeyemi has already scored 3 times from 3 appearances in the Champions League. Playing mainly as a centre-forward he has scored 10 times in 11 games in the Austrian Bundesliga. This has also earned him a callup to the German National team.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have already entered the picture for signing the 19-year-old. Adeyemi is a young exciting German and striker and suits the profile of players the Bundesliga giants are looking for. Liverpool is also monitoring the player and Adeyemi even admitted that he was honoured by the rumours.

However, now it seems that PSG is also entering the picture. PSG wants Adeyemi as a contingency plan if Mbappe did leave in the summer to Real Madrid.

Salzburg does not want to sell Adeyemi in the summer. But if clubs want to sign him this January, they will have to send him back on loan for the rest of the season. With Adeyemi impressing domestically and in Europe, it won’t be long before he makes his next big move.
